Leeza Vasko (b. 1999, Jefferson City, MO) is a Ukrainian writer, artist, and forester based out of Salida, CO. Her work explores ancient dream-states, rhythms, and cycles, influenced by her land stewardship practice across desert and hill country and her experience growing up in the Ozarks as part of the Ukrainian diaspora. She wants to encourage viewers to immerse themselves in the halfway zone she inhabits through her work, the brilliant and generative purgatory wedged between birth and decay.
